Meditation is considered a type of mental training. Its purpose is to focus and direct human thoughts.

In some cases, it is used to increase a person’s own level of consciousness, reduce daytime fatigue or increase concentration. It is also often used to treat sleep or behavior disorders, as well as to improve a person’s general mood.

Here are some key benefits that meditation can bring to our lives.

1. Meditation reduces stress

Studies show that meditation is an effective treatment for stress.

The impact that stress has on the body is huge and can have very negative consequences. That’s why it’s important to reduce stress as effectively as possible.

2. Helps control anxiety attacks

If you suffer from more stress every day, it can cause anxiety attacks.

These seizures can have physical symptoms that can deprive a person of the ability to do their normal activities.

If you spend some time meditating, you can reduce the anxiety caused by stress.

Studies show that meditation can fight:

anxiety

phobias

panic attacks

paranoid thoughts.

3. The benefits of meditation for emotional health

Meditation can help improve our self-esteem and overall mood.

Various studies show that meditation can help treat depression.

Meditation also makes you more optimistic and able to overcome daily obstacles. It makes a person more focused and helps to have a positive attitude.

4. Meditation improves attention

Studies support the idea that meditation can improve a person’s attention.

This is important because it means that meditation allows you to be more attentive and focused in your daily activities.

This is very useful if you have an active life. It can also be useful if you have a difficult event or day ahead.

5. Improves memory

Meditation also helps to improve memory. It helps to remember better and helps to preserve the youth of the mind.

Research shows that meditation is an effective treatment for memory problems and even helps prevent diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease.

For this reason, meditation is recommended not only for young people but also for seniors.

It’s also a great technique that people of all ages should add to their daily routine!

6. Helps fight addictions

Many studies have shown that meditation is a useful tool in the treatment of certain addictions.

For example, it can be used to overcome any type of negative addiction or bad eating and drinking habits. It can also help a person realize their own addiction.

However, if a person suffers from a very harmful addiction, it is also recommended to seek the help of a specialist.

7. Improves night sleep

Adding meditation to your life can help you sleep deeper and calmer during the night.

It also increases the relaxation achieved during sleep hours. By adding meditation to your daily routine, you will soon feel the difference. You will wake up much calmer and more energetic.

Moreover, some studies confirm the use of meditation to treat certain sleep disorders.

How much time should you meditate every day?

Meditation for 30-45 minutes per session will allow you to set aside time to connect with yourself. While this may be too long for those just starting, it will get easier over time.

However, even 10 minutes a day is enough to notice some benefits.

During the first few days, meditate for a few minutes and begin to gradually increase the time. You can find a meditation technique that works best for you.

Final tips

For some people, meditation in absolute silence is best, but others may need quiet and pleasant music. Some people also meditate better during quiet activities such as walking.

Your mental health is very closely linked to what you eat. To improve memory, you need to eat foods that stimulate the brain and monitor your lifestyle and what you do every day.

Memory loss does not depend on age. That’s why you need to start taking measures early to keep your brain healthy. Eating the right foods to improve memory and cognition is one of the many things you can do.

What causes memory loss?

Memory loss is caused by a lack of vitamins, especially complex B, as well as amino acids.

Everything that you eat is very important when it comes to memory loss and cognitive decline. You need to eat foods high in antioxidants, proteins, and fats.

Brain function and how what you eat affects on it

Your brain contains about a billion neurons in every cubic millimeter.

This is constantly changing and new connections are being made. Your brain is nothing more than interconnected neurons that work with certain chemicals.

Poor nutrition will make you more vulnerable to mental disorders as well as degenerative diseases of the nervous system.

What to eat to improve memory

Glucose is the food that acts as fuel for your brain, while protein acts as a building block and neurotransmitter.

On the other hand, fatty acids (lipids) help build new membranes that protect neurons.

It is very important to eat a variety of foods, as well as eat 4 or 5 times a day, not skipping meals and drinking more fluids.

But, above all, it is useful to add to your diet foods that contain:

1. Omega-3

Omega-3 are polyunsaturated fats that your body needs but cannot be produced. Eating them regularly is good for your brain and to improve memory.

They act as a protective layer on the cell membranes of your brain.

They can be found in foods that improve your memory, including:

Trout

Sardines

Tuna

Clams

Nuts

Soy sauce

Vegetable oils

2. Antioxidants

Antioxidants are responsible for reducing the damage caused by cell oxidation and helping to improve your concentration. Although your body can produce its own antioxidants, it is still very good to incorporate them into your diet.

Foods that contain antioxidants:

Berries

Broccoli

Nuts

Green tea

Garlic

Carrots

3. Vitamin E

Vitamin E belongs to a group of fat-soluble vitamins that help counteract oxidative stress.

Some foods that improve your memory and contain vitamin E:

Peanut

Tomatoes

Asparagus

Kiwi

Pumpkin

4. Polyphenols

Polyphenols are defined as compounds that have an antioxidant effect.

Some foods that contain polyphenols:

Raspberry

Cherry

Green tea

Grape

5. Vitamin B

Vitamin B, known as folic acid, helps lower homocysteine levels, which can cause heart problems. It also helps the body produce new cells, including neurons.

Vitamin B deficiency can lead to anxiety, nervous system disorders, and memory loss.

Some foods that improve your memory and contain vitamin B:

Almond

Chard

Spinach

Cabbage

Hazelnut

Avocado

If you want to preserve your memory and fight off other diseases, exclude these foods from your diet:

Sugar, white flour, white rice. They can also alter the nervous system and cause hyperactivity.

Saturated fats. In addition to affecting your memory, they also slow down digestion.

Processed foods. They gradually affect your ability to understand and plan, as well as your memory.

Tips to stimulate your brain

Eat balanced, nutritious foods.

Eat on a regular schedule.

Enjoy nature.

Exercise for at least 30 minutes, 3 times a week.

Monitor your blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Learn how to deal with stress.

Be careful not to gain weight, as this can lead to mental deterioration and dementia.

Take a walk and spend time with friends; clear your mind.

Sleep at least 8 hours a day. This will help keep your nervous system in balance.

Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

But not everyone knows about its unique properties. But the spice is useful for the female body and, when properly applied, will help preserve the shape.

Turmeric comes from southern countries and information about how to use it in cooking, preparing tasty and healthy dishes, came to us from India. It was from those edges that the very first spices were brought. It is interesting that in ancient times turmeric was used as a ritual powder, but for some time it also acquired the status of “healer”.

Modern research has also shown that this spice:

has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial qualities;

has an antiseptic effect;

is an antioxidant;

improves the gastrointestinal tract;

reduces cholesterol levels in the blood;

increases metabolism, due to the ability to warm the skin;

contributes to the preservation of youth;

used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, abdominal pain;

improves the complexion;

minimizes fine wrinkles;

eliminates dandruff and hair loss;

promotes weight loss;

removes excess water from the body;

increases metabolism;

reduces bouts of hunger;

accelerates blood, contributing to the rapid removal of harmful substances from the body;

cleans the blood from excess cholesterol;

stabilizes blood sugar levels;

acts as a natural antibiotic;

helps to establish the menstrual cycle;

restores the lipid barrier.

In order for turmeric to start “working” in the body, it should be taken daily, but in small quantities. Moreover, recipes for the use of turmeric, both inside and outside, there is a huge amount, so everyone can choose a more convenient and pleasant option.

In fact, all the therapeutic actions of this “solar” seasoning are performed by the curcumin component, which is present in its composition.

But, as with the use of various medicines, it should be remembered that everything should be dosed, including the use of turmeric. It should be taken no more than 1 teaspoon per day.

Despite all the miraculous properties of turmeric and its positive effect on the entire human body, there are also a number of contraindications to its use:

individual intolerance seasoning, causing nausea and indigestion;

hormonal disruptions, as turmeric has the ability to enhance the production of such a hormone as estrogen;

hypotension (turmeric reduces blood pressure);

problems with the gall bladder, the presence of stones in it;

pregnancy and lactation;

problems with blood clotting;

children under 5 years old.

Based on all of the above, it becomes clear that turmeric is a widely used substance, both for medicinal and cosmetic purposes, as well as in cooking. For human health, it is a completely safe seasoning, but only if the measure is observed when it is used.

A combination of rhythmic movements with different kinds of music is a useful and at the same time a pleasant exercise that we can do anywhere and anytime.

What benefits do us dance lessons

Dance activities are incredibly useful for our body. Remember this when the next time you come up with reasons not to go with your friends to dance.

1 Improve physical fitness

Dancing is beautiful because everyone can choose the kind that he most likes. There is a lot of their varieties, and each in its own way is useful for our body. For example, there are dance specially designed to improve our physical fitness.

Fortunately, in the schedule of any sports club you will find this kind of occupation. For example, the lessons known to all zumba or dance mix (mix of different directions of music). They represent a set of certain movements in the rhythm of aerobic exercise.

In this way, we increase our capacity for work, endurance, and develop flexibility and coordination. As a result, it improves our shape, the muscles become more advanced, without increasing, as with force loads. We become more sporty and active.

Remember that the cause of obesity in most cases is a sedentary lifestyle. And dance lessons give us lots of energy, motivation and positive emotions.

2 Helps to fight overweight

When we dance, we help our body burn off excess calories. In other words, while we have fun, our body is losing weight and leaving fat deposits that spoil our figure so much. This is one of the most enjoyable and effective ways to lose weight.

The most popular types of dances that help us spend the supply of calories include:

zumba

samba

belly dance

latin dances

They help burn many calories in a short time.

3 Contribute to the removal of excess fluid from the body and toxins

Energetic dance lessons one or two times a week make us dance intensely. In this way, the body is effectively cleansed and excess fluid and toxins are eliminated. As we mentioned earlier in many of our articles, the accumulation of toxins in the body causes him considerable harm.

It is therefore important that our body maintains a water-salt balance. To do this, you need to drink enough water per day, especially when we perform exercises.

Remember that excess liquids are removed from the pot, and along with it toxic substances that can cause various diseases.

4 Improve blood circulation

People who are suffering from circulatory problems, such as heaviness in the legs, varicose veins or edema, should avoid any sedentary way of life in all ways. However, it is constantly on the legs and at the same time it is not enough to move – it’s also not an outlet. Therefore, the best solution in this case will be dance lessons.

Most often dance and you improve blood circulation in your body. In addition, moving to rhythmic music, you force all the muscles of your body to work from head to toe.

You just have to choose the style of dance that best suits your taste, age and level of physical fitness.

5 Help establish a social relationship

There are people who prefer to dance at home alone. However, if we practice dancing in a couple or in a group, we have to be in the community of other people.

That means we have the opportunity to get acquainted with new interesting people. We can establish a pleasant friendly relationship or even find our love.

6 Raise your mood

The benefit of such lessons is not only to improve the physical form. In addition to the fact that thanks to dances, our body acquires the desired silhouette and strengthens health, they also greatly affect our mood.

When we are alone at home, and our emotional state at zero, it’s time to dance! This is an effective therapy to fight stress, sad thoughts and even laziness. Dances will relieve us of excessive shyness, closeness and sadness.

And therefore, sign up today for classes in the nearest dance class. You will immediately notice how your physical and emotional state will improve!

Usually this is a consequence of malnutrition, but it may also indicate more serious problems.

Why is abdominal distension?

Together with food, we absorb and air, it comes out with a snap or some other way. But with flatulence the stomach swells, sometimes there are painful sensations.

This is due to the fermentation that the products cause in the intestine. Such products are legumes, soda, beer, cabbage, sweets.

Many fermentation causes dairy products, this is called lactose intolerance. There is also a disease such as celiac disease, or intolerance to lactose. In this case, flatulence arises from the consumption of food with cereals, especially wheat products.

What diseases can cause abdominal bloating?

An incorrect diet is not the only problem that causes flatulence. He can also testify to a number of dangerous diseases. For example, enteritis, gastritis, cholecystitis, cirrhosis, pancreatitis and oncology. In addition, swelling may appear due to the presence of parasites in the intestine.

If the bloating of the stomach lasts for a long time and food changes do not help, it is best to consult a doctor.

How to deal with bloating of the stomach

Usually, bloating can be prevented by combining products correctly and consuming not too many products that cause fermentation. At home, sorbitol preparations or special preparations for flatulence are saved from flatulence, which can only be prescribed by a doctor.

In addition, to prevent flatulence, it is best not to talk during meals, not eat on the go and choose healthy food.

Decision making is a complex mechanism and no one is immune from mistakes. We do not always know whether we really want something, or whether we make this decision under pressure. To make the right decisions – there are a couple of psychological tricks.

Two column method

This is one of the most common methods used by psychologists for decision making. You need to take a sheet of paper and draw it into two columns. In one column write the pros and cons of one solution, in another – another. Calculate where more pluses, and where more minuses. Choose on the basis of strict calculation.

Why?

Ask a “why” chain of questions for each solution. Why do you need to make such a decision, why do you need what you get as a result and so on.

This will help you brush off all the options that are actually based on desires imposed on you from the outside. Just be honest with yourself. answering these questions.

Look into the future

Imagine the most negative version of events from the adoption of a decision. Do you have an alternative pan for this case? Which option will you be able to cope with, and which one will you not? What will you do if you become sorry?

This will help you make a decision based on future consequences.

Confide in fate

Throw a coin or ask the balloon for questions. No, we do not offer you to rely on fate in decision making. Just follow your reaction: did you rejoice when the coin chose this or that solution, or secretly wanted it to fall out the other side?

Such methods help us to listen to our intuition and understand what we really want.

How to finally start living for yourself? It seems that this is a very banal and beaten phrase. For whom do we live then, if not for ourselves? Actually for everyone!

Since childhood we are taught to be good girls and not to upset parents, get excellent grades, go to the budget, get a job for a prestigious job, and then happily marry, giving birth to several children.

There is nothing wrong with this installation and the script. On the contrary, everybody wants the best for us. However, it happens that we do not want to.

We do not want better, we do not want to follow expectations and live so that “no one upset”.

Do you know why
Living, in order not to upset anyone, we are upsetting ourselves.

What to do to start living for yourself?

Begin to listen to not everyone but to yourself. It will be difficult and painful, but necessary. Understand at the end what you really want and what you are striving for.

Find friends who will support you, and not always poke your nose in the fact that you’re “not like that.”

Take time yourself and only yourself. But you do not need to go to the imposed SPA centers, if it is more pleasant to you (for example) in the library.

It will be difficult and painful. But you have to admit the fact that you owe no one other than yourself.

There are a lot of people around you, and you’re alone.

Stimulates brain development
Before your child learns to speak, he will first learn to understand speech, and so create a so-called passive dictionary. This phenomenon is related to the sequence of maturation of individual centers in the brain responsible for understanding and articulating speech. Writing speech from early childhood is therefore associated with a better acquisition of knowledge about language. The more you come into contact with a given phenomenon, the more connections between neurons, thanks to which the child understands more and the better he cope with information in the future. There is only one trap – stimulation also does not serve him, so nothing at all.

2. It awakens the curiosity of the world
The child is fascinated by the literary world and receives it almost uncritically. One can often observe that a child recreates the behavior of his favorite characters who serve as an example. It is important, therefore, that the patterns we present with children’s literature are simply wise. Though sometimes it’s enough to be funny!

3. Stimulates speech development and improves memory
Reading to children stimulates the passive (understanding) and active (speech) dictionary of the child and helps to overcome dyslexia. It also helps in expressing your own thoughts. By listening, the child follows the development of actions, dialogues, notices and predicts the consequences as well as causal relationships.

4. Shapes emotional intelligence
Books are a treasury of knowledge about emotions for the child. Each hero, after all, manifests itself, and usually in one novel there is a whole bunch of them. Thanks to these stories, he not only learns feelings, but also learns to name them and learns how to express them.

5. Builds emotional bond
Reading together is a way of spending time with your child. Daily reading before bedtime can be a respite not only for a toddler, but also a parent. An evening reset and a moment where we can be here and now – together.

6. Develops the imagination
Literature compels us to think, analyze, and thus develop our imagination. It is a counterweight to television production, where everything is given vaguely “on the plate”: verbal and visual communication, therefore the role of the passive recipient remains. In the case of books, it is completely different.

7. Improves memory
Reading to children stimulates not only the imagination, but allows you to combine new knowledge with what the child already knows. Such reading right before sleep strengthens the “muscles of memory” – with each new information the brain creates new synapses and improves the action of the existing ones. Thanks to this, people who read (of different ages) have a chance to retain a better memory than those who lie in the chairs in front of the television series.

8. Encourages participation in social life
A study by an American agency supporting the NEA art has shown that people who read regularly (or who have been in contact with childhood literature) are much more culturally and citizenically involved. They also have greater ease and freedom of expression, they do it in a more eloquent way. After the vocabulary of a few-year-old, you can learn if the parents are reading the book to the child.

9. Prepares for independent reading and writing
A child who comes into contact with literature from an early age, knows the letters much earlier and what lies behind them. It’s a great introduction to learning.

10. Builds the reader in the future
Those children who have been dealing with literature from the earliest years have a much greater chance of continuing their literary fascinations in adulthood. So when we read to children today, we are actually building a society reading tomorrow. It sounds good, right?

Acroyoga is a combination of classic exercises used in yoga with acrobatics and some elements of Thai massage. The result is an exercise system that surprises with its lightness, beauty and originality. Behind Acroyoga, however, there is hard work and a lot of muscle strength.

Exercises are performed in pairs. One person is the base, i.e. he is carrying his partner. The other person, the so-called flyer, performs yogic positions using the body of the base. Both people need to cooperate well and communicate well to make everything work.

In the early stages of learning Acroyoga, there is also a figure of a spotter, or a belayer, who is tasked with securing the flyer against possible fall. Everyone has the opportunity to be a base, flyer or spottler in class.

Acroyoga is based on asanas, or positions characteristic of the classic hatha yoga, adapted to the needs of performing them in the air, in the acrobatic version. Extending the body is very useful here, but it does not mean that people who are not very flexible can not take advantage of such activities – they will simply perform easier, less demanding versions of exercises.

Classes begin with a warm-up – preparing the body for intense exercise and performing difficult positions – and end with relaxation, during which the body calms down and calms down.

Acroyoga – effects of exercises
Acroyoga is characterized by its spectacular nature. The admission positions during this type of exercise are unprecedented.

Behind this amazing exercise there is also a whole lot of positive aspects for the body, including:

strengthening the muscles of the legs and arms (especially at the base) and the muscles of the abdomen and the back (especially in the person placed as a flyer),

improvement of motor coordination, including coordination with a partner,

increasing body strength and body flexibility,

muscle stretching.

In addition, Acroyoga has a psychological aspect. Mutual trust between the partners is needed, because each minimal base movement is felt by the flyer, which can fall, and vice versa – any minimal change in the tension of bodies by the flyer can result in the balance being out of balance. Exercisers are working on increasing their attention, concentration and courage. They overcome the fear of accepting acrobatic positions on the body of another human being.

Acroyoga is also great fun and, despite heavy physical effort, a lot of relaxation, especially for the head. How can you think about your problems by fighting to keep your partner’s feet?

Acrobatics in the air – for whom?
Definitely classes of this type are for people who are looking for challenges or other, less common, but also original, forms of movement. Fascinates of yoga, gymnastics, acrobatic exercises, pole dancing will definitely find their way to Acroyoga. The classes can also be used by people who do not have experience in practicing classic yoga.

Acroyoga is not a workout aimed at people who have back problems. Discopathy, sciatica, problems with intervertebral discs definitely disqualify to participate in classes.

Not aloved Acroyoga for people with: low pressure, dizziness (due to the many positions in which the head hangs down), as well as problems with balance or fear of heights.
